The ground source heat pump for large houses and properties
The CTC GSi 16 model is also highly suitable for large properties.
"In a year, it provides just over five times as much energy as it consumes," says Mats Lindgren, Marketing and Sales Director at CTC.
The CTC GSi—CTC's popular heat pump for ground source, water source or geothermal heating—has been launched in a new, larger 4–16 kW model.
"We have raised the bar higher with the CTC GSi 16. It has a very high efficiency, which makes it a very interesting product, not least for anyone who wants to invest in environmentally friendly energy."
Over 300 litres of hot water
CTC GSi 16 is equipped with a highly efficient water heating system, which produces over 300 litres of hot water. The inverter-controlled compressor adapts to the house's power requirements and the heat pump is very quiet, since the compressor and cooling components are enclosed in a separate soundproof unit.
The seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP) for the GSi series is 5.5. SCOP stands for Seasonal Coefficient Of Performance and is a measure of heat pump performance. Compared to the GSi series, which had an SCOP of 5.0, the new value of 5.5 is a clear improvement, as Mats Lindgren explains:
"Thanks to the high SCOP value, the heat pump easily meets the requirements for the best energy labelling available, i.e. the EU's energy labelling class A+++. The user can also supplement with other energy sources, such as solar heating or a wood boiler."
Control via mobile phone
CTC continues its investment in modern technology, and like its predecessor CTC GSi 12, the CTC GSi 16 can be controlled from your mobile phone using the free myUplink app.
"Our new heat pump combines high performance with modern functions, something that today's consumers demand. The user saves both energy and money while having full control of the heat pump thanks to digital technology," says Mats Lindgren.
