How to control your heat pump with your mobile phone

"Most people appreciate having their heating system in their pocket," says Peter Lydén from CTC.

myUplink is a user-friendly app where you can view and control your home's heating and water systems. Property owners can monitor multiple systems simultaneously. Here's everything you can do in the app:

Outdoor temperature
The pump checks both outdoor and indoor temperatures. It regulates so that the indoor temperature is always constant.

Extra hot water
If the need for hot water increases temporarily, you can set it in the app.

Push notification
If the system senses that something needs to be checked, you will receive a push notification and an email.

Vacation mode
If you are going on vacation, you can lower the indoor temperature. And even if you forgot to lower it before you left, you can still do this via the app when you are already travelling. Just set the number of days.

Cooling
If you have installed free cooling in a room and there is a sensor, you can see and control the temperature on your mobile phone.

Pool heating
If you use your heat pump to heat your pool, you can see the temperature of the water and the stop temperature, for example 25 degrees.

Property owners can monitor multiple heating systems

A property owner may need to keep track of several heat pumps at the same time. The app shows all heating systems in the same account. Within each system, you can have up to ten pumps. You can also use the app to dedicate some pumps to hot water and others to domestic heating.
