Sören is most comfortable when production is at full speed.

Sören Myrup, an experienced fitter at CTC, has busy days. He has seen the development from wood-burning boilers to heat pumps, and today it's almost exclusively heat pumps that customers want.

He has worked at heat pump manufacturer CTC since 1999. Back then, boilers were the biggest part of the business. Heat pumps were kept in a small corner in the production department. But as heat pumps have become increasingly popular, they have taken over more and more.

Sören Myrup assembles and solders heat pumps. Thanks to his long experience, he is very familiar with most parts of the production process and can step in wherever needed.

- "You have to move around a bit between stations depending on what is required - but it's just fun because the work becomes a bit more varied that way. You become a bit of a jack-of-all-trades when you have worked as long as I have," he says.

Production goes at full speed

After 17 years with the company, Sören still enjoys his work, largely thanks to the great sense of community among his colleagues. He likes it best on days when production is at full speed, something he has really experienced lately.

- "When we have a lot to do, that's when the work is the most fun. I like the feeling that you have to keep a high tempo in order to be able to deliver what we have planned for.

Fittingly, Sören has a leisure interest that is pursued at a slightly slower pace.

- "I like hiking and dream of one day doing it in the Swedish mountains. It's the tranquillity and the fantastic mountain nature that attracts me," says Sören with a smile.
