Job at CTC led to a dream life

Anny Osbäck studied at Chalmers in Gothenburg, but then decided to move home to Ljungby for an exciting job at CTC Enertech.
"It's the best decision we've made. Life has become the way we want it to be. Here we can relax and have room to do more, both mentally and financially, she says.

Anny Osbäck grew up in Ljungby. A town that is close to most everything — nature, lakes, the city and, of course, friends and school. When she and her husband finished their studies in Gothenburg, they moved back here. Today, they live next door to her husband's parents' home outside the village of Hörda. She has a life that would not have been possible in the big city.
"Here, we could immediately buy a house in the countryside that was cheaper than a studio apartment in Gothenburg.

Thinking about work

Moving back was not an obvious choice, since Anny and her husband were uncertain whether they would find a suitable job in their home town after their studies. However, with the job at CTC Enertech, everything fell into place.

Enertech is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of heating products. The company has approximately 250 employees who develop and manufacture CTC heat pumps and domestic boilers as well as Bentone oil and gas burners.

"We always said that we would like to move back, but we wondered if there would be suitable jobs for us after our studies. It worked out very well and we are so happy to live here," says Anny.

"In Gothenburg, for example, there are a lot of traffic jams and frustration, compared to Ljungby, where it is easy to get into town and quickly run some errands. Here, you can also easily go out to eat at a restaurant without having to book a table two weeks in advance. This makes it possible to live a more spontaneous life.

Close to everything

Living in a small community in the countryside means they are close to most everything. Now back at work after taking parental leave, Anny values being near her parents so they can spend time with their grandchildren.

"In a small town, you have time to do the things you want to do. Exercise or go out in nature. We have more energy when we are near our family and relatives and free from congestion and traffic. This is quality of life for us.
