Heat pumps provide a cosy environment for a restaurant

A windswept restaurant with large windows on an island can be difficult to keep warm. With the help of air-to-water heat pumps from CTC, the indoor climate is pleasantly warm even with large temperature changes.

"Having a good heating system is very important. The working environment for our guests should be nice and the guests should feel comfortable and able to relax," says Badholmen's co-owner Kristian Syrén.

Badholmen restaurant is included in the White Guide and is one of Småland's best restaurants. It is located on an island in the middle of Oskarshamn's busy inlet.

Badholmen's large windows mean not only great views but also the risk of being cold, especially on windy and chilly days. But the restaurant's owners have invested in two air-to-water heat pumps from CTC, which provide an even and comfortable temperature.

"Besides making the guests happy, they also create a good working environment for the employees," explains Kristian Syrén.

The heat pumps are easy to maintain

The heat pumps not only keep the large restaurant area at the right temperature, but also heat eight hotel rooms upstairs.

"We have had the CTC system for a year and a half and we find that it works really well. We have even heating and although we have many glass sections, the capacity is sufficient.

In addition to the guests being satisfied, it is a good working environment for the employees
