Installing an air-to-water heat pump is a relatively simple process. It can be done in two to three days at any time of the year, and does not require any drilling. But it packs some really innovative technology. In this week's blog post we do our best to explain how an air-to-water heat pump actually works.
There is nothing cosier than brightening up your home, and maybe even your whole property, with Christmas decorations. Thanks to the LED revolution, the costs for this have been significantly reduced. Since we’re frugal Smålanders, in this week’s blog post we look at what it actually costs to leave Christmas lights on.
After 44 years with the same oil boiler from CTC, Klas-Göran and Inger Nilsson felt it was time for something new. Today, a CTC EcoAir 406 heat pump takes care of heating in combination with a CTC EcoEl 1550 electric boiler. Heating has become more stable and operating costs have been significantly reduced.
Affe and Lemmy are well-known individuals in Lidingö. They run the HVAC firm CreaNord, and have done so for many years. They installed their first CTC product as far back as 1973. Just a stone's throw from the firm is Lidingö Storage Centre: The centre offers 285 storage units for hire, measuring 1-30 m2.
Welcome to Valdemarsvik. The area is home to the beautiful skerries of Gryt and Tjust, as well as Allvärmeteknik, one of CTC’s major partners. With Östergötland's largest energy and bathroom store, they are hard to miss when you arrive by car and approach Valdemarsvik.
Hällevadsholm is a small locality in Bohuslän. It’s so small in fact that it’s surprising that it has a suburb with rental apartments. High-lying, two-storey wooden buildings with their own garden plots make the area idyllic.
The proximity to Lake Kolstorpevattnet provides another advantage: access to free energy.
Have you ever travelled on the E6 in Bohuslän? Then you have probably seen the Bohus Expo on the right-hand side in Munkedal. A stately building from the 1980s which is home to offices and exhibitions, and has now found new life owing to a new, innovative tenant. And a new heating system from CTC.
CTC EcoZenith i350 is probably the most modern and effective indoor module on the market. CTC EcoZenith i350 is equipped with ultra-efficient water heating technology. In combination with, for example, the CTC EcoAir 510M air-to-water heat pump, it produces over 300 litres of hot water, making it one of the most efficient indoor modules on the market.
At CTC, product quality, operational reliability and customer safety are always top priorities, along with meticulous procedures throughout the production and supply chain. In this blog post we get the lowdown from our Quality and Support Manager, Peter Johansson, who sheds some light on the work.
A heat pump from CTC is always supplied with a feature we call EnergyFlex, which allows customers to connect absolutely any heat source to their heat pumps. It does not cost anything extra as it is always included as standard. We describe the benefits in more detail in this blog post.
To spread the Christmas cheer so that more families get more time to celebrate Christmas together, the CTC/Enertech Group has decided to donate SEK 50,000 to the Swedish Cancer Society instead of giving Christmas gifts to employees. The Swedish Cancer Society is an independent, non-profit fundraising organisation whose goal it is to see more people surviving cancer and fewer affected by the disease. To achieve this, the organisation works with research funding, dissemination of knowledge and advocacy work. Since its inception in 1951, the Swedish Cancer Society has contributed almost SEK 9 billion to cancer research in Sweden.
Meet Sören Myrup, one of our experienced fitters at CTC, who has worked at the company since 1999. At that time, just before the advent of the new millennium, boilers took up the lion’s share of operations, whereas the manufacture of heat pumps was consigned to a small corner of production. But as the heat pumps became more popular, the area they inhabited in production expanded appreciably.
Are you thinking about building a swimming pool at home? Building a pool is quite expensive, and heating costs must also be considered. A smart and cost-effective way to heat your pool is by using a heat pump.
